But today was a little better. He was glad I was there, we had a good talk, and he ate some turkey, and tolerated it. I'm hoping that he will enjoy a good home made deli sandwich tomorrow.
The doctor says Tom will feel a little bit better each day for a while, and then it's on to the 2nd round of chemo. It will be the same: 1st week okay, 2nd week terribly ill. Tom told me today he is scared. We all can understand that.
Thanks again to everyone of you for you support, encouragement, and prayers for which we could not do without. We love you all!
Sounds rough, but maybe this will be a bit of a respite. Hope so. He will sustain you (Ps 55:22).

This is so difficult. I will tell you that I have a high school friend that just finished stem cell at Emory on Monday. It was a rough go; but she is doing well and things look great for her. There is hope!
